Are you considering participation in a clinical research trial?

Discover more about the process.

Telephone Pre Screening

Upon signing up for a clinical trial, you will be contacted by phone or email. One of our research study coordinators will conduct a phone screening and interview you to determine if you prequalify in the study. You also will have the opportunity to ask questions about the study and the site. If you prequalify and continue to be interested to join the study, you will be scheduled for a Screening Visit  at the site.

Screening Visits

At this visit, our staff will provide you with full study information so that you can make an informed decision whether participating in the study is right for you. An informed consent form will need to be signed and dated prior to visit procedures/assessments being done.  You will get details about the number of visits needed, what tests will be performed and what compensation will be provided to you for your time and travel. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask any study-related questions you may have.  Remember, study participation is completely voluntary.

If you decide to participate in the study, we'll perform the Screening visit procedures which could include vital signs, physical exam, blood, and urine sample collection, EKG collection, and study-specific assessments to confirm your eligibility and based on your results, we will let you know if you are eligible to join the study or not.

Follow-up Visits

Once your eligibility is confirmed, you'll then have scheduled follow up visits at the clinic.  Scheduled  visits may involve having a  physical exam, study assessments questionnaire  and laboratory  tests  done such as  blood and urine tests.  You start receiving study medication and  given instruction on dosing.   In general, scheduled clinic  visits are  shorter duration  conducted at our clinic for continued evaluation. Some  visits are performed remotely and  do not require in person evaluation. These are completed over the phone. Clinic visits may occur anywhere between a week, every 2 weeks or once every 4 weeks .

Compensation

We know your time is valuable and we are grateful for your decision to participate in a clinical research trial.   On top of the free study-related care that you’ll receive throughout the study, participants may also be compensated for their time and travel.  To know more, please contact Christine at 562-287-8906 or via email at: info@corehealthcaregroup.com
